I’m Zach Doty; a Stranger, Pilgrim, Alien, Exile, Outcast, and Sojourner.
For a short while, I live here on earth; but it is not my home. I seek a much better country, a heavenly one; whose builder and architect is God!
I have been bought with a price; have been made holy by Christ’s merit; have been called to adorn holiness with sound doctrine; and have been charged to live a life antithetical to the world. I am in the world, but not of it.
Christ is my life; my joy; my hope of glory. I no longer live; but Christ lives in me. As my faithful High Priest, He has made full satisfaction for my debt of sin; and eternally liveth to make intercession for me before His Father.
My will was once enslaved to sin; dead in trespasses. But as my King, Christ has subdued me to himself, making me free from sin that I might be the servant of righteousness.
To sum it all up; Christ has loved me with a constraining love that leads me to repentance and new life in Christ. He has bought me outright, by His blood, and I am not my own!
